MAYS LANDING- John Psota, 34, pleaded guilty before Presiding Judge Bernard DeLury on Thursday, October 24, 2019, to two counts of second degree Sexual Assault by Sexual Contact, announced Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.
Psota pleaded guilty to the charges that are connected to at least one incident in Ventnor City that occurred during the summer of 2016 that involved a six year-old boy and a seven year-old boy. Psota was arrested, charged and detained in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on February 21, 2018. Psota is scheduled to be sentenced on December 5, 2019, pending a sex offender evaluation at Avenel.
This investigation was conducted by detectives from the ACPO Special Victim’s Unit and Chief Assistant Prosecutor John Flammer represents the state in the matter.
