MAYS LANDING – Kayan Frazier is facing child pornography charges after an investigation that began in January and resulted in the discovery of more than 1,000 images depicting sexual exploitation or abuse of a child, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Frazier, 26, was arrested Monday at his residence in Somers Point without incident and he was charged with the following:
- Second degree Distribution Child Pornography
- Second degree Possession of Child Pornography
The charges could be increased to first degree pending further investigation.
Frazier is lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility where he awaits a detention hearing. This investigation is a cooperative effort between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office High Technology Criminal Investigations Unit, FBI Child Exploitation Task Force and Somers Point Police Department. Assistant Prosecutor David Ruffenach represents the state in the matter.
