MAYS LANDING- After the execution of a search warrant Thursday morning a Pleasantville man was arrested and charged with multiple narcotics charges, following a 5 week investigation by the ACPO Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit and the Galloway Township Police Department , Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Shawn Jackson, 33, of 215 B Ridgewood Avenue was arrested and charged with the following narcotics related offenses:
- 2C: 35-4- Maintaining a narcotics production facility (1st degree)
- 2C35-5B- Possession with the intent to distribute (2nd degree)
- 2C:35-10A- Possession of Heroin and Cocaine (3rd degree)
- 2C:35-7.1A- Narcotics distribution within 500 feet of a public park (2nd Degree)
“This is not a warning. This is a promise to continue to protect the safety and quality of life for Atlantic County residents and visitors. Drug dealers should be aware that if you manufacture, possess and sell drugs in Atlantic County the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office’s Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, with the cooperative efforts of our law enforcement partners will work diligently to find you, arrest and charge you to the fullest extent of the law,” I applaud the hard work and commitment of our Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit and appreciate the assistance of the partnering law enforcement agencies who participated in this investigation,” Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner said.
On August 30, 2018, the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit and the Galloway Township Police Department executed a search warrant at 215(B) Ridgewood Avenue in Pleasantville.
- The following items were recovered from 215(B) Ridgewood Avenue during the execution of the search warrant:
- ½ pound of Marijuana
- Ounce of Cocaine
- 300 bags of packaged Heroin
- Ounce of Heroin
- Various packaging and narcotics processing equipment
The Atlantic County Regional SWAT Team, the Pleasantville Police Department, the Absecon Police Department and the Little Egg Harbor Township Police Department in the execution of the search warrant. Assistant Prosecutor Marisa McGarvey represents the state.
Jackson was lodged in Atlantic County Justice Facility.
