HAMMONTON MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE DRUG CHARGES

MAYS LANDING- A Hammonton man is charged with multiple drug charges, following the execution of a search warrant at his residence, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

On March 29, 2018, the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Unit, the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the Hammonton Police Department executed a search warrant at the residence of Juan Reyes, 309 Fairview Avenue in Hammonton.

The execution of the search warrant was the result of an investigation into the distribution of heroin and crack cocaine throughout Atlantic County.

As a result of the investigation, the following items were recovered:

  • Approximately 4 ounces of crack cocaine
  • Approximately 1 ounce of crystal methamphetamine
  • 2 grams of uncut/unpackaged heroin

As a result, Juan Reyes was arrested and charged with the following:

  1. Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, 2C: 35-5B(2), 2nd Degree
  2. Possession of Cocaine, 2C:35-10A(1), 3rd Degree
  3. Possession with Intent to Distribute Crystal Methamphetamine, 2C:35-5B(9) (B), 3rd Degree
  4. Possession of Crystal Methamphetamine, 2C:35-10A(1), 3rd Degree

Reyes was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending a detention hearing.
