FIRST APPEARANCES SCHEDULED FOR JAMES KAUFFMAN 4 OTHER DEFENDANTS


MAYS LANDING-James Kauffman and four other defendants, charged in connection to the murder of April Kauffman, as well as, conspiracy and racketeering, will have their first appearances Thursday, January 11, 2018, following a cooperative investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office and multiple law enforcement agencies, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

All of the first appearances will be conducted via video, from the Atlantic County Courthouse Court Room 2, on Thursday, January 11. 2018.

Garrabrant are the lead investigators on the case.

 

The investigation and arrests were the result of a joint operation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the FBI, Linwood, Egg Harbor Township, Somers Point and Lower Township police departments and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
