DETENTION HEARING SCHEDULE RELEASED FOR JAMES KAUFFMAN & 4 OTHER DEFENDANTS


MAYS LANDING-James Kauffman and four other defendants, charged in connection to the murder of April Kauffman, as well as, conspiracy and racketeering, will have their detention hearings this week, following a cooperative investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, FBI and other multiple law enforcement agencies, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

All of the detention hearings will be held at the Atlantic County Courthouse, before Presiding Judge Bernard DeLury.

Thursday schedule for the detention hearings are as follows:

9:00 am – James Kauffman

10:00 am- Tabitha Chapman

11:00 am– Joseph Mullholland

1:30 pm- Ferdinand Auguello

9:45 am – Paul Pagano

Chief Assistant Prosecutor Seth Levy represents the State. Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Sgt. James Scoppa Jr. and FBI Special Agent Daniel A. Garrabrant are the lead investigators on the case.

The investigation and arrests were the result of a joint operation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, the FBI, Linwood, Egg Harbor Township, Somers Point and Lower Township police departments and the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office.
