~The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office RANDOM ACTS OF COPNESS PROJECT spotlights law enforcement officers from around Atlantic County who are going above and beyond the call of duty to give back to the community. ACPO features the stories, photos and videos of these RANDOM ACTS OF COPNESS!~
Earlier this month, the Atlantic City Police Department announced that their Neighborhood Coordination Unit, along with their many sponsors, would host neighborhood barbeques throughout the City. The events are free to all residents, and the Department’s goal is to bring the community together one event at a time. Entertainment was provided at many of the events and even a soccer game with the kids and Officers in attendance on Tuesday evening!
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office recognizes these officers who went above and beyond the call of duty with this RANDOM ACT OF COPNESS!
“A common goal of law enforcement continues to be, bridging the gap through community engagement. Events like the community barbecues and community walks held in Atlantic City are paramount and necessary for the community to see law enforcement engaging with our young people. I thank these officers for going above and beyond at this event and I applaud the Atlantic City Police Department for continuing to build and foster relationships in the community they serve,” said Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner.
Thank you for your service and commitment to your community, Officers of the ACPD!
