HAMILTON TWP – MAYS LANDING- An Atlantic City man pleaded guilty on Thursday to first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault of a minor, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Darnell Luke, 26, admitted that in December 2015, he had a 7 year-old child perform a sex act on him. Luke is scheduled to be sentenced in April before Judge Rodney Cunningham. Luke will receive a 15 year sentence to be served in a New Jersey state prison which he must serve all of before he is eligible for parole and will be subject to Megans Law and Parole Supervision for Life.
The case was investigated by Detectives Michael Peterson and Daniel Choe of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit. Assistant Prosecutor Dave Ruffenach represents the state in the matter.
