MAYS LANDING – An Atlantic County Grand Jury returned a 6 count Indictment on Thursday against an Atlantic City man for various sexual offenses committed against two juveniles, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
Norberto Gonzalez, 22, of Atlantic City was indicted on the following charges:
1) First-Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault
2) Second-Degree Sexual Assault
3) Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child
4) Second-Degree Sexual Assault
5) Third-Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and
6) Third-Degree Terroristic Threats
The offenses were committed against the juvenile victims, ages 6 and 10 years old, on various dates from January 1, 2017 through May 5, 2017. Gonzalez was arrested and charged on May 6, 2017.
The charges were the result of a joint investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victim’s Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Acting Chief Assistant Prosecutor Danielle S. Buckley.
