ATLANTIC CITY MAN INDICTED AGAIN FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT OF CHILD


MAYS LANDING– An Atlantic City man has been indicted on multiple charges for the sexual assault of a juvenile victim, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

Santos Blanco, 41, was indicted Thursday after an Atlantic County Grand Jury returned 3 counts of First-Degree Aggravated Sexual Assault and 3 counts of Second Degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child against Blanco.

In December, an Atlantic County Grand Jury returned a separate 9-count indictment against Blanco for the sexual assault of a different juvenile victim.

In December, Blanco was indicted on the following charges:

4 counts of first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault

4 counts of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child

1 count of third degree Endangering

In September, Blanco was charged with two counts of first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, two counts of second degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and one count of third degree Endangering.

In October, Blanco was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of another child in connection to incidents he committed against a juvenile victim during the course of several years.

The charges and indictments against Blanco come after a joint investigation between the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit, detectives from the Pleasantville and Atlantic City Police Departments.

Judge Patricia Wild granted the State’s motion to detain Blanco in September. The state is represented by Acting Chief Assistant Prosecutor Danielle S. Buckley.
