Raymond Royster is a husband, father, son, brother, uncle, social worker, photographer, triathlete, and an alumni of Stockton University. Raymond graduated from The Richard Stockton College of NJ in December 2005 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health Administration and a minor in Business Administration. During his time at Stockton, Raymond took full advantage of all the opportunities the college had to offer. He participated in many campus organizations and clubs, such as: Unified Black Students Society, president, Student Senate member, Court Adviser for housing and residential life, Re-chartering member and President of the Pi Xi Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Re-chartering member of the Stockton Chapter of the NAACP, Public Health Society, president, Books without Boarders, Charter Member, and Board of Activities Vice President (currently known as SET). In addition to obtaining his degree while attending Stockton, Raymond met the love of his life, which later became his wife, the beautiful Mrs. Mya Royster, who was also a student at Stockton.
Raymond has worked as a case manager for the Division of Child Protection and Permanency for the State of New Jersey from 2006-2018. Raymond is currently serving the citizens of Atlantic County as the Coordinator for the Victim Witness Program at the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. Raymond is a proud and active Brother of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Alpha Theta Lambda Chapter based in Atlantic County NJ. Raymond is currently the Chair of the Community Service committee, which hosts the Chapter’s annual Father’s Day Scholarship Brunch as well as the Chapter’s suit drive. Raymond is a 2018 recipient of Stockton University’s, Council of Black Faculty and Staff’s Distinguished Alumni Award. He enjoys traveling with his wife and family as often as possible. Raymond also enjoys training for and competing in triathlons. Lastly, Raymond and his wife Mya have been married nine years and are proud parents of two wonderful and energetic sons, Raymond and Myles.
