ACPO SELECTS PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCMENT COMPETITION WINNER FROM ATLANTIC CITY HIGH SCHOOL

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office sponsored a Public Service Announcement portion of the 2018 Artists Alike Film Festival.  ACPO chose the winning PSA entry, submitted by Atlantic City High School students, Kelly Maldonado and Vanessa Mencia-Lopez, entitled “Words Hurt” on the topic of cyber bullying.

ACPO’s selection for the runner-up entry was “Don’t Distracted Drive”, by Stephanie Emory, Taylor Thompson and Kaitlyn Scardino of Oakcrest High School.

The winners were announced at a Red Carpet Event at Dante Hall.

The districts and high schools should be very proud of this project, because we are hopeful that it will help educate students throughout the state about the perils of cyber bullying and distracted driving.
