ACPO RECOGNIZES U.S. ARMED FORCES SERVICE MEMBERS FOR NATIONAL MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH

MAYS LANDING- Did you know the staff of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office includes 17 veterans who have served, or continue to serve in 4 of our nation’s military branches? Almost 10% of the ACPO staff are veterans and include Detectives and Assistant Prosecutors!

NATIONAL MILITARY APPRECIATION MONTH is a month to honor those who are serving and those who have served our country. We thank each of you for your service to our country and Atlantic County!

~Declared by Congress in 1999, May was selected National Military Appreciation Month as a month-long observance honoring the sacrifices of the United States Armed Forces. There are more military related observances during the month of May than any other month, so it is an appropriate time to celebrate the men and women in uniform.  During May, we recognize Loyalty Day, VE Day (the end of World War II in Europe on May 8, 1945), Armed Forces Day, Military Spouses Day and Memorial Day.
