ACPO MAJOR CRIMES UNIT INVESTIGATING SHOOTING DEATH OF TEEN


MAYS LANDING- A 15 year-old Atlantic City teen was the victim of a fatal shooting early Thursday morning, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

A 911 call was received by the Atlantic City Police Department at 4:17 a.m., on July 25, 2019, and Atlantic City Police Officers responded to 102 S. Massachusetts Avenue in Atlantic City. When police officers  arrived a 15 year-old female was found and she had been fatally shot. The ACPO Major Crimes Unit also responded to the scene on Thursday morning. An autopsy will be conducted today and the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
