ACPO MAJOR CRIMES UNIT INVESTIGATING FATAL SHOOTING IN ATLANTIC CITY


MAYS LANDING- Detectives of the ACPO Major Crimes Unit are investigating a fatal shooting of a 34 year-old man in Atlantic City, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

At 12:57 a.m., July 26, 2020, Atlantic City Police officers responded to a 911 call at Kentucky and Atlantic Avenues where officers located the male victim who was pronounced deceased at the scene.   An autopsy was conducted by the Southern Regional Medical Examiners Office and determine that the cause of death are gun shot wounds and the manner of death is homicide.

This is an active ongoing investigation by the ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department.
