ABSECON MAN CONVICTED OF 2ND DEGREE AGGRAVATED ASSAULT


MAYS LANDING – An Absecon man was convicted on March 28 of the second degree Aggravated Assault of an elderly woman, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.

Brian Auxer

Brian Auxer, 31, was convicted after a three day trial of the July 3, 2016 assault of a female victim who he was living with at her home. Auxer assaulted the victim and caused serious bodily injury.

Auxer faces 5 to 10 years in New Jersey state prison and is subject to the No Early Release Act. Sentencing is scheduled for May 25, 2019, before Judge Jeffrey Waldman.

Assistant Prosecutor Kathleen Robinson represented the State at trial.
